ABOUT US

North American Midway Entertainment, LLC (NAME) was organized on October 13, 2004.  The company was created by Cypress Group when it acquired four industry leading outdoor amusement companies in 2004: Conklin Shows, Farrow Shows, Astro Amusements, and AllStar Amusements. In 2005, North American Midway Entertainment acquired a fifth company – Mid-America Shows from Danny Huston.  The combination of these five companies created the largest traveling outdoor amusement company in North America.

From 2004 to 2018, the ownership of North American Midway Entertainment went through several transitions:

  •      2004-2010 Cypress Group (Private Equity Group)

  •      2010-2015 Danny Huston and Jeff Blomsness

  •      2015-2018 Townsquare Media – an NYSE Public Company

  •      2018-Present Danny Huston

Throughout these ownership changes, NAME continued to grow a financially solid, industry leading company with consistent business practices across all of its operating units.

NAME’s history of being owned by both a private equity fund and a publicly traded company provides a unique benefit to NAME’s clients.  This ownership history created the only traveling outdoor amusement business that can provide clients with the flexibility and personal touch of dealing with a family-owned business combined with the confidence of knowing that the company is managed with the highest level of financial best practices and corporate governance.

 

NAME’s size and reputation enables it to employee industry leading managers and safety staff, maintains audited financial and accounting controls, and ensure continuity of operations across all of its operating units.  This structure enables NAME to operate at multiple events while maintaining the highest level of service and customer experience at each location.

North American Midway Entertainment’s management philosophy is a commitment to providing excellent value and outstanding fun in a visually wonderful and safe family setting.  We will provide consistently high levels of professionalism, courtesy and service by offering on-going employee education and training in order to ensure that we may best represent our partners and communities.

Under the direction of our owner Danny Huston, they have added a valued dimension to North American Midway Entertainment by providing leadership coupled with a vast and experienced knowledge of the outdoor amusement business.  Danny understands the challenges that face our partners.  He is a hands-on owner with field-level experience that will only further improve the quality of our company.
