*North American Midway Entertainment is the leading sponsor and supporter of the National Youth Talent Competition. This competition began in 1982 and is dedicated to the gifted youth of Canada who exhibit extraordinary talent and give those youths an opportunity to showcase their talent on a National scale. The success of the competition can be easily measured by the success of the competitors that have participated.

*Northlands, the Capital Ex in Edmonton, AB and North American Midway Entertainment annually host “Monday Morning Magic” in the ever-popular “Family Fun Town”.

Monday Morning Magic is a private community program offering children with disabilities the opportunity to experience the fun of the fair in safe and controlled environment. We invite children with special needs who require considerable assistance to participate along with their families before the fair opens to the public.

*At the National Peanut Festival in Dothan, Alabama we donated $4920.00 to the Ronald Mc Donald House.

*In Edmonton we donated 100 new toys to the victims of a devastating arson fire that destroyed 18 neighboring duplexes.

* In Burlington, IA we take pride in providing private midway entertainment to over 500 physically and mentally challenged children.

*At Buffalo Grove Days, Northbrook Days and Founder Days we offer private midway entertainment to hundreds of exceptional children

*North American Midway and the Illinois State Fair work in partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network.

*In September 2005 in response to Hurricane Katrina, North American Midway Entertainment created an educational foundation to provide textbooks & computers for the Mississippi Public Schools.

*North American Midway Entertainment and the Calgary Stampede host 200 children with special needs every year for a private morning of fun. The “Giddy Up Grits” program was established in 1979 and in partnership we provide a pancake breakfast, rides, a petting zoo, mascots and Rodeo Royalty.

*Over the course of five years North American Midway Entertainment contributed a total of $230,819.00 to our industries national trade association, the Outdoor Amusement Business Association.

*At the Mississippi State Fair, North American Midway Entertainment provided rides for “The Mustard Seed”. The Mustard Seed of Jackson, MS was founded in 1981 and is a Christian-based community home for mentally challenged adults, all of whom are unable to live independently due to various mental disabilities

*North American Midway Entertainment provides a private day of midway rides to over 6,000 exceptional children every year at the Miami Dade County Fair. At our annual fairs in Brunswick and Savannah,GA, North American Midway provides two sunshine specials, with rides, popcorn, cotton candy and apples to over 500 local children.

*North American Midway sponsors and supports our traveling private school “Conklin International Academy”.

*In 2009, a team of our employees joined together to walk 10km at the Manitoba Marathon to raise monies to send all of our Conklin International Academy Students to summer camp. With over $2700.00 in donations from midway personnel, fair executives and families we sent all of our students to Pleasantview Bible Camp in Lloydminster, SK for one week. Giving our students a trip to summer camp lets them find new personal strengths away from the midway atmosphere and helps them build new confidences. Summer camp activities include ziplining, horseback riding, kayaking, archery and swimming.

*Just Dance” -Styled after TV's "Dancing with the Stars,” featured amusement and fair industry amateur “dancing stars” and their partners. Four couples and one group dance competed to display the best footwork, win prizes and benefit the OABA Duke Smith Memorial Education Fund and the SLA’s Scholarship Fund to help young people in the mobile amusement industry. North American Midway was a major sponsor of “Just Dance”.

*Annually on the 4th of July weekend, North American Midway provides over 500 special children with midway rides.

* North American Midway donated $100 to the Dubuque County Fair for the chance to win $1000 in food from HY-Vee Food stores.† WE WON!I Pat Repp, Unit Manager on behalf of NAME donated the $1000.00 in food to the local Dubuque Food Bank.

*Amber Swedgan, Director of Media and Communications for North American Midway Entertainment ran the New York City Marathon and raised over $13,000 for the scholarship funds of the Outdoor Amusement Business Association and Showmen’s League of America.

Annually, in honor of the Norve Myer Foundation, North American Midway and the Orland Park Lions Club provides 3500 special kids with a free rides, prizes, crafts, face painting and lunch.
